TechNet’s (Kansas City Metropolitan Educational Technology Network) is a non-profit, regional consortium of school district and university technology coordinators, directors, instructional specialists and others interested in the educational use of technology.

Mission Statement:

• To provide a regional association for educators involved with or seeking knowledge of educational technology

• To provide for the sharing and exchanging of ideas, strategies, and materials for improvement of effective, equitable, and ethical uses of technology

• To provide professional development support and resources for educational technology specialists in schools

• To work in conjunction with other state and national organizations with similar interests

TechNet is an ISTE Affiliate    

ISTE is a nonprofit professional organization with a worldwide membership of leaders and potential leaders in educational technology dedicated to providing leadership and service to improve teaching and learning by advancing the effective use of technology in K–12 education and teacher education.
