Authentic Learning through Technology and Pedagogy
Students crave a contextual, connected, collaborative, change-directed, conversational, and continuous learning environment. They desire technology in the classroom that is research-supported, teacher-developed, and student-advocated. In other words, kids require authentic learning. This presentation will focus upon how implementing a technology-integrated pedagogy (utilizing team-wide blogging, classroom discussion podcasting, disposable learning object screencasting, etc.) creates authentic learning, engagement, and achievement for all students.

Ben Wilkoff is a passionate Educational Technologist. He lives to collaborate and create with districts, schools and individuals. He was named the Totally Wired Teacher of 2007 by The George Lucas Educational Foundation (Edutopia) and Yahoo for Teachers. He lives with his wife two children in Denver, Colorado.

Online registration has closed for the February 2010 conference.
